Day 1    Vancouver Merritt Salmon Arm

▶ Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Head off to the Rock Mountains(Approximately 1500km long, 80km wide in size). 
▶ Pass by the emblematic sceneries of rural area in Canada, Chilliwack.
▶ Have a lunch break in the mainland of gold rush, Hope.
▶ Pass by the desert area(with scent of country music), Merritt via Coquihalla Pass, the north-south route in southern British Columbia
▶ Pass Kamloops; known as city of woods, and inland transportation.

▶ Arrive in Salmon Arm where Shuswap Lake surrounds the inlet.

Lake Louise 

Named after the Fourth Princess of Queen Victoria of England, now the mascot of the Rockies, is announced as one of the 100 places travelers must visit by the BBC. Japanese New Age artist Yuki Kuramoto was inspired by the Lake Louise, leading himself to create the work “Lake Louise”, which became the turning point in his career. Enjoy the subtle silence, as well as the magnificent 2,464m tall mt. Victoria.

▶ Leave the Hotel after breakfast

 

▶Arrive at Banff and tour Banff Area (Canada’s first National Park) including Bow Falls, one of the filming locations for the movie “River of No Return” in 1954 starring Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum. Bow river, and almost 100 years old Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. 

 

★ Optional tour : Banff Sulphur Mt. Gondola [C$50/per person)] 

– As if you were surrounded by paintings, experience the overwhelming beauty of the Rocky Mountains from sky rise viewpoints!

▶ Visit Yoho National Park to admire some of natural wonders, such as Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge, made by the fast flowing Kicking Horse River over the years.

Day 4    Golden Hope Vancouver

▶ Leave the hotel after breakfast.

▶ Travel to Vancouver passing by Salmon Arm, Kamloops (a lumber city and a inland transportation hub), Merritt, stopping at Hope for lunch, and Chilliwack.
▶ Arrive in Vancouver. Return to Vancouver around 4-5pm
